Two-time Wayne State University alumnus Fred S. Findling, 76, is celebrating the 50th anniversary of The Findling Law Firm in Royal Oak. A German immigrant and Holocaust survivor, Findling came to Detroit when he was 11. "I suppose I knew the only way I could make a decent living was to pursue an education," he said. He earned a bachelor's degree in 1954 and a juris doctorate in 1956 - both from Wayne State.
